MANILA, Philippines — The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported a 23 percent decrease in crime in more than one month.

Article continues after this advertisementAccording to data from the Metro Manila police, from Nov. 23, 2024 to Jan. 15, 2025, it seized P153 million worth of illegal drugs.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in documents that it opened the probe on Thursday after the company reported four crashes when Teslas encountered sun glare, fog and airborne dust.
NCRPO also seized 364 illegal guns and arrested 352 individuals for possessing unregulated firearms.

The police also logged over 2,000 arrests of wanted persons and over 349,000 violators of local ordinances during the same period.
