Indoors: Working with Lima architect Andrea Vera Villa, the owner spent more than $400,000 to renovate this apartment over the past two years. The hard-carved front door opens to a great room that comprises living and dining areas and a backlit bar with a white countertop and black shelves. A marble-encased fireplace anchors one side of the room. A guest bathroom on this level has marble floors and fixtures.

The kitchen has been remodeled with white quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, an island with a cooktop and a dishwasher (which is rare for a Lima apartment). A wing opposite the kitchen has three bedrooms. The principal bedroom has an en suite bath; the other two bedrooms share a bathroom. The sleeping quarters have large windows with city views.

Through a glass door in the kitchen, a staircase leads up to the second floor, which houses the laundry room, a guest bedroom and another bathroom. The sale includes the apartment’s contemporary, mostly black-and-white furniture, which was updated as part of the renovation. The apartment features central air-conditioning.
